1. Barack Obama, the US President on 21 June 2013 nominated James Comey as the next FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) Director.

2. Six Forts of Rajasthan included in the list of World Heritage Site of UNESCO and won international recognition on 21 June 2013 in the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee (WHC) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The six majestic forts include Amber (Jaipur), Kumbhalgarh, Chittorgarh, Jaisalmer, Ranthambhore (Sawai Madhopur) and Gagaron (Jhalawar).

3. India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves increased by $982.3 million to $290.65 billion for the week ended June 14, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India.

4. PepsiCo India Region President Manu Anand has quit the company with immediate effect after working with the company for 19 years.
