Filipino invents 'automated tubig machine'

Although he was not able to finish a college degree, Ted Vargado said nothing was able to stop him from inventing things which he believes will make life easier for Filipinos.

Vergado was credited for creating the "automated tubig machine" or ATM, which was hailed as the No. 1 modern safety water machine
at the National Shoppers Awards.

Speaking to dzMM anchor Nelson Lubao on Sunday, Vergado explained how his invention came about.

“Yung first business namin yung manual water station.

Vergado said the cost of purified water from the ATM is lower compared to the ones from water refilling stations.

“Mas binaba ko (yung presyo) sa regular refilling station kasi nawala na sa akin 'yung ibang expenses ko,” he said.

Furthermore, Vergado said one can easily avail an ATM for as low as P50,000.

Mayroon tayong P50,000 pataas. Depende sa uri ng tubig niyo,” he explained.

Vergado believes an ATM is a good investment as there is a chance of receiving as much as 30% return of invesment each month.

Aside from the ATM, Vergado said he has other inventions. However, it was only the ATM that he was able to put out in the market.
